Welcome,

I know this a stange topic, but I fig. there isn't psu forum and this is probably w/ most people view. My psu is loud and is even louder when I go to sleep . My is 450W and got it for $15. It has PowWow fans, i think there crap, am I right. Please let me know what kind of psu is quiet and got around 400. I wish I can get a Psu for <= $50, maybe if it hella good one, maybe over $50. I heard Dell is best one out there, maybe I could jack one from one of there new system.

Thanks

Don't hate! According to the guys at SilentPCreview this is the best PSU there is for quiet computing. If I were in the market this one or morelikly the 300W version would be the first PSU I would consider.

Just got my Seasonic Super Tornado 400W today and I must it's impressive. It's about as quiet a fan-cooled PSU as you will get and it comes witha 3 year warranty, and the Seasonic warranty service is supposed to be very good.
The only thing I don't get is why they called it Tornado ?!?

EDIT: The Super Tornado has a single 120mm fan and runs quieter than the dual 80mm fan Super Silencer.
