Best Programs to Run to Test Stability of Graphics Card?

Here's the deal. I just received an eVGA TwinView Plus Geforce2 MX card, and I am having some problems with it. I don't know if the board is having some compatibility issues with my MSI K7T Pro 2 board, whether the eVGA is defective, or what. I have of course performed the usual troubleshooting with BIOS settings and VIA AGP drivers.

I haven't overclocked the board at all (yet), but in both Windows ME and 2K, the board often produces white vertical lines at the splash screens and then proceeds to crash when I try to run a game. The strange thing is that this doesn't always happen. This morning I turned on the computer (so the board was nice and cool) and the OS booted fine and NOLF ran just fine.

I logically suspect heat is the problem, and so for that reason, I would like to run a torture test on the board to confirm. I suspect that the eVGA will not get through much of a test, but I want to know for sure whether I should go through the trouble of RMAing it.

What tests can I run on the graphics subsystem to really give it a work out? Would you guys just recommend running 3DMark2000 in a loop? Thanks

Judging from the amount of flak 3D mark 2000 has been receiving at these forums, it would certainly be the right choice to test your setup.

Does you card feature a fan installation? If it does, check to see if its turning. If it isnt, you might want to head on over to www.2cooltek.com or www.millisec.com for some video card cooling solutions.

Thanks. I was planning on adding active cooling, but I figured that at factory speeds I really wouldn't need to.
