My personal bid goes to Turion or Core Duo. Turion Pwns Pentium M and Sempron. However, I've heard rumors that AMD will come out with a Dual-Core Turion later this year, so you may want to wait a few months.

Merom when it comes out when vista comes out. If it is 20% faster than yonah, then it will be faster than turion x2 🙂 (based on AnandTech yonah benchmarks vs equaly clocked AMD 64 X2) DDR2 is not gonna bring 20% performance over current X2s.

Since when does a Turion pwn a Pentium-M? AFAIK, they demo'ed a DC Turion at CeBit, so we might see them in 3-4 months at the earliest.

Right now the overall best mobile processor without a question is the Core Duo T2600.

Hmm, great info, but I should have made the question more clear, haha. What I meant to say was, what is the best processor for gaming, the best processor for multimedia, and then the best overall processor. Appreciate the input though. :=)
