I currently have an Epson 740 which I thought I'd keep a long time now that I've found cheap generic cartridges. Unfortunately, the generic color cartridge I just installed only delivers fushia.
It seems the color cartridge must be working for this printer to print.
COSTCO is coming up with an offer January 13th for a Canon S750 for $59.99 after MIR; add tax, shipping & handling.
It may be a good idea considering Canon ink is refillable but I rarely use the color ink. I just use black mainly for documents for my personal reference.
I've read that laser is good but maybe not for such low usage.
Suggestions?
I think I'm concluding I should forget a new printer and just buy cheap black ink cartridges and leave the nonfuctioning color cartridge there so the printer will run.
