So after realizing that I need to get on the ball WAAAAAY early, I finally stopped by Lowe's & got the eve clips for the house. No staples, nails, screws.....just push on & in January....pull off. (aahhhh)

So I want to get new lights for the house & Lowe's had about 5 different kinds of icicle lights. I want white/white wire and, of course the nicest were this frosted bulb w/ twinkle & clips to keep the bulbs pointing down, LED, smart-on, etc. Great, but they were friggin' $25 for 100 bulbs. That's 2 strands of 6.5 feet.

Seeing as that'd be around $200 worth of lights, I might be interested in something a little cheaper.

Suggestions?

Indeed! (as in "made in China) although GE seems pretty proud of these....

I like the idea of Costco but I will probably stick with white. However, if I change my mind, I'd definitely be all over those.

They have plain white also, $14.99 for a 9.5ft string. Same as the GE from Lowes. They are in my video below, I have posted it before.

I'm near the Chino lights which used to be pretty killer, but they're not quite what they were 20 years ago. (still nice to stroll though)
