Best pre workout for focus?

Haven't seen one of these treads in awhile. I was a big fan of original jack3d a few yrs ago, and ECA stack back in the day. I'm looking for a pre workout that's biggest attribute is focus if you know what I mean. Seems DMAA, DMAE, DMBA have all gone the way of the dingo. Is there anything out there that doesn't suck, is legal, but will meet my needs? I don't care if it's NO2 related or has creatine or not. I'm just curious if there is anything out there at the moment that is not just sugar and caffeine. Seems these supplement guys are one step ahead of everyone on changing compounds of stuff and what not. Unfortunately, when stuff works, sometimes it doesn't last that long on the market.

Ive tried C4, No xplode and a few others but just cannot seem to find something that mimics the same feeling.

Was considering Hyde or ESP. But I'm a bit overwhelmed with the hundreds out there. The top 2015 supplement lists always appear to be done by someone who is a schill for one of them. Anyone else have any personal recommendations? Will be used prior to working out, crossfit, running...

Coffee.

I'm actually thinking of making my own pre-work out consisting off coffee, L arginine and beta alanine. The powders are bulk unflavored so I'm hoping it just mixes right into the coffee and won't affect taste.

I've found that C4 and other pre workouts are no better than coffee. In fact, I strongly prefer just 1 cup of coffee, about 30 mins prior to a lift.

Seriously, I kind of figured I would get a few responses like that. Not really what I'm looking for. 🙄 Let's assume I've tried coffee for awhile again, but miss the focus (or rage) or whatever it is I'm looking for. Unless you've tried DMAA or Ephederine, you can't really relate. Does anything out there right now not suck?
 
Hate coffee.

I loved N.O.Xplode until they changed the formula. Now I go with Hydroxycut.
 
My favorite has to be Redline. Just drink 1/2 the bottle 30m before hitting the gym.

Why only a half bottle? I'm pretty stim tolerant. Can't be that strong..

low thc, high cbd sativa, vaped, not smoked, with a small dose of caffeine.

Was that english? (Edit: Oh, I'm over 40. Just googled. Are you mocking me a bit there?)
