I dont know where to post this, so dont get mad at me. What is the best, quietest power supply for under $100 that will have enough power for an overclocked 6800 GT?

There is no "best", there are however very good PSU for every price range.

Do a search as this question has been asked and answered.

for that price? hmm..
I'd recommend the Ultra X-connect... its 500W, and actually has very impressive power specs.. not to mention it looks awesome, and has modular power connectivity. I  my X-connect.

OCZ Powerstream PSU's Link

OCZ has it it supports BTX ATX, EPS2, everything you could think of except for like the neopower PSU it doesn't have the "detachable" rails.

AFAIK, the Seasonic tornado 400 is one of the quietest, most efficient power supply in that price range. Refer to silentpcreview for more info. They have quite a list of "good" power supplies.

Thermaltake is crap. You cannot compare it to Antec Enermax or OCZ, and for that matter PC Power and Cooling. Thermaltake is all show not performance.... The three listed above are the ones you should look at. Also Siverstone, Zalman.... and a couple others.

Antec, if you don't want to take ANY chances, go with an Antec True480. These other power supplyies may be good, but in my experience Antec seems to be the solution that can be depended on anytime. Plus, you get a three year warranty on their psus.

Silverstone 460watt is almost like the neopower without the modular cables. under 100 bucks, nice psu.
