What would you guys say is the BEST Power Supply that is Silent, 2.0 Spec and and enough power for the fastest systems?
I have a EG475P-VE (24P) Noisetaker Series 470Watt ATX 12V v2.0 PSU. But was just wondering if there is anything I would be better off with. I have not use it yet so I could sell it if I needed to.

The system I will be building is a Nforce 4 939 board AMD Athlon 64 3500+ 2GB RAM, Geforce 6600 GT PCI Express, 2 Sticks, 2 300GB SATA HD, DVDRW Drive & CDRW Drive, Sound Blaster card, Flash Crad Reader,Modem, Floppy drive and 4 Case Fans!

well i am not really sure what is the BEST one because there are so many quality PSUs but right now i am using the OCZ modstream 520Watt PSU and it is very quiet with its virtually silent 120mm fan and its modular cable management. Also my rails are very stable and i am running an A64 system with 2 sata drives, x850xt, 2 optical, 2 cold cathode, audigy2zs, 7 fans. I recommend that one but there are of course many others like Antec makes a nice one.

But the PSU that you have right now seems pretty good to me unless you are having stability problems =/.

If you want a fanless PSU, Silverstone and Antec both makes them. Those are the ultimate in quiet PSUs, but you usually have to add case fans to make up for the lack of ventilation ability in the PSUs, which kind of defeats the purpose of a fanless PSU in the first place.

The quietest fan-cooled PSUs would be the Seasonic Super Tornado (single rail) and S12 (dual rail). Recommended as the quietest fan-cooled PSUs by Silent PC Review. Neither Enermax nor OCZ can match the Seasonics in terms of quietness.

If you are not going to SLI your system, you can use the single-rail Super Tornado 400, which puts out a sustained 22 amps on its 12V rail. If you want to go SLI, you want to get either the S12-500 or S12-600.

Also, just a quiet PSU does not a quiet computer make. You still need a quiet CPU HSF, a quiet vid card HSF, some way to slow down your NB fan, and quiet case fans.

But if you are on a mission to quiet your computer, the Seasonic PSU should be the first item on your purchase list.

HTH.
