best poker site for real money

Pokerstars is the way to go. More players..more tourneys all times and worse players(you want worse players).

Payment options are getting a bit sketchy tho...cause apparently we dont know how to spend our own money and the government needs to tell us what to do with it...but thats besides the point.

Apparently if you get a Visa GIFTCARD(accepted worldwide or international one) you can deposit with it. You can usually buy these at stores like CVS, Riteaid and such. Dont buy it from a bank. There are also other payment options like epassport but i have no knowledge about them so I dont trust them. You can always send a real check it just takes a while.

If you go with Full Tilt they just introduced a new payment option. Its new so if you want to trust it go for it.

I used neteller the entire time and now that its gone I will on be withdrawling with paper checks. I know a ton of people who have money stuck in neteller because of the whole gambling thing. Neteller is holding these funds and no one knows when they are getting them back. I know one guy that has 50K in it from poker..that sucks doesnt it?

I lucked out, I put my entire neteller balance on Pokerstars at the beginning of the year to take advantage of their 5-year anniversary bonus.

no sites take paypal. or rather paypal won't fund poker sites.

yea i tried pokerstars but it wouldnt accept my visa then i went to neteller...so i guess im going to have to buy a visa gift card

yeah no gaurentees but give it a go. I have other ideas if that doesnt work.

This is why online poker is in trouble now. I love playing online and really dont want to stop so I know how to find ways around it to play. The problem is the avg player who just wants to screw around is going to give up as soon as all the easy payment options are gone.

Full Tilt did me well. So did Pokerstars. I found the players on Full Tilt to be better then those on Pokerstars.

Which is why you go to pokerstars 😀

how are the fish nowadays? The new anti gambling rules should make it harder to earn money playing online poker...

Pokerstars just recently sent me an email about a new payment service that should work for US players. Another site, maybe Full Tilt, announced a while ago that the current law does not affect poker players, but banks are still not allowing it. I've tried a few payment services since then and couldn't get any to work, but thanks for the idea of a visa gift card. My only concern now is the ISP, but I bet if I'm the first to get caught the PPA will come to my rescue. It'd be a huge showdown.

They should have been smarter. As soon as the President signed that law, I pulled out all my money ASAP so that crap like that didn't lock up my winnings.

I read that the owners of Netteller were busted for fraud or embesslement. A lot of poker sites ceased to support Netteller deposits. Might want to look into that before you go with Netteller.

Well no the poker sites allow it..neteller is the one that pulled out of the market after the scare of their execs(former) being arrested. People who pulled there money into neteller wernt that stupid. Neteller is a publicly traded company and does dealings other then poker and still services poker players outside the US. I dont have any money in it but I would trust them as well and I am sure they will get their money back eventually.

There are still a large amount players on pstars but this will probably go down slowly.

The arrests of 2 netteller stock holders was not related to poker. It was sports gambling charges. Plus, neither worked there anymore, just stockholder for the last year or so.

I still play at Bodog. I haven't depositted in over a year, so no telling how that part is now. No problem getting money out. Did Western Union most recently about 2 weeks ago for some money and didn't have any problems.

I just got an email today from Trident Poker, a Prima skin, saying that the paper check they just sent me would not be honored by banks. Sure enough I logged into my online banking and the check was refused and I got a $5 returned item fee. Supposedly once Trident has confirmation that the check was cashed and refused they'll wire the funds to me.

paypal will never be an option on any gambling site, even before the Government decided to make our gambling their business paypal was against it.
