NYC skyline still rules dammit.

People seem to forget Midtown has these thingies called the Chrysler building (42nd st) and the Empire State (34th), and the slanty Citicorp building among others.
NYC Buildings

Downtown still rocks the a$$ of almost any city on earth.

We will rebuild.

Oh, and the view from my roof in Brooklyn is best :) You can see the Statue also. Amazing on a crisp winter day.

I got some great shots off the aft deck of the Staten Island Ferry.

Not really a "skyline" view, but I love the view from the rooftop gardens of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I have a nice 360° picture from up there, if anyone wants to see it, I'll upload it (it's pretty big, BTW).

Cool, that stop is 2 stops away from me.

I really like the older picture too... I guess its from the mid-70s though the subway cars looks older.

Off the jersey turnpike? No clue, only been to NYC once and it was a good experience. Only other place that can match or even surpass NYC skyline is Hong Kong

wow Hong Kong does look impressive.

Also, for no good reason, here is another link of the 9th street stop :)
Cool coz those church steeples are still there 30 years later (obviously)...
