expect to pay more now too since Obama is expected to put in a new gun ban that will be worse than the previous one.

so buy now and stock up.

wow...reading a firearms forum i visit regularly and oe guy said he went to order mags. they showed as 39.97 but when he added to cart they were 79.99. called them up and they said that due to Obama winning the election and the fear of a new firearms ban they and their suppliers are raising prices.

Gonna be a very sad time for firearms enthusiasts for awhile.

and here i just got my 03 FFL. Should i just throw it out now?

I got the following email from gunsource.com who I had previously bought some high cap mags from. I will never do business with them again. Lol at taking a step back in our Constitutional rights when Bush and Co did more for that then any presidents combined (not trying to turn this into P&N).

That is what we got with the election on Tuesday. We've elected a man that doesn't believe in the Constitution of the United States of America and will do what he can to dilute it. We have taken a giant step backwards in our Constitutional rights. We have given ourselves up to socialism and leftist thinking. Our best hope is that this future President can so completely screw things up that he is remembered in the same sentence as Jimmy Carter and inspire a true conservative resurrection for the next election.

The pending gun legislation that is in the Congress is scary as all hell. With a democratic President, I shudder to think of the possibilities over the next 4 years. I will do my best to keep you updated.

Stay on our list for the latest updates. We'll inform you of your proposed Constitutional infringements regardless of your voting preference. Just remember, I reserve the right to tell you "I told you so."

That being said, our dist ributors tell us that all standard capacity magazines, AR15's and assault style weapons are being bought out. I haven't seen a shortage like this in many years. Although I think this is a bit premature, I don't blame anyone for getting the items that they think they should. Either way, the products are selling out and now is the time to buy.

Best of luck to all. You will need it in the next 4 years and the several years that will be needed to fix the mistakes of our next President elect. My many thanks to those of you that voted for this empty suit and sold out our Constitutional Rights.

Best regards,

Eric R. Thompson
President

Brilliant, isn't it? We're making progress and all that progress gets reverted into "CHANGE" and "I AM BLACK VOTE FOR ME!!!"

My English Professor was in a tizzy today, she was so excited that Obama was elected. Asked why, she said "It's about time a black man became President."

How about a Black Man who isn't a domestic enemy?

Haha... I love it.

You think Obama is a domestic enemy? So the majority of the country is fleeced but you have the "vision" to see right through it?

He is a US citizen just like you... or wait... I haven't seen your papers... YOU must be an enemy! To arms!

Uh, we have a P&N section for those arguing...

To the OP, I like buying guns locally and creating a rapport with gun shops. Great advice and experience is priceless sometimes. Plus, they are more than likely to give you discounts the next time you come back. :)

Happy shooting!

He's not looking to overthrow the government. He just wants to buy a gun that he might not be able to buy in the future.

How do you want me to respond to this post?

Yes, I am able to see through it, because unlike you apparently, I do a little research. I don't just listen to his speeches and hear how wonderful he is from some blonde bimbo on Fox or CNN, I look at his homepage, I look at him, I look at his friends.

I don't just go out and vote for him because he's black, and all of the sudden, we need black presidents. Glad he's black, because if he wasn't, I'd think this country was more fucked up than it already is.

My bother bought one. I think he spent 3 or 4 hundred dollars, though I don't really remember.

I was actually wonderful to shoot. It feels like a complete piece of junk in your hands, all stamped sheet metal and moving parts that grind against each other, but it was much more accurate than I thought it would be. A few times we actually shot it until the barrel started smoking.

He got his from a local gun shop in NC. I have no idea where the "best" place to get one would be - I don't think they're too hard to find.
