Loudon is really nice-- as soon as i can afford it, i definetly want to move out there-- or to stafford county (which is also on the list).. Northern Va rocks-- how could anyone not want to live here.

Arlington here. Stafford is really nice but I don't want to take an hour+ commute on 95 to work :(

If it wasn't for traffic, I would absolutely love NoVa.

I love Chicago :)

On the flip side, a few months back I saw a website this guy made where he absolutely crucified some ugly small town in Ohio, and I admit the pictures he had backed him up. Wish I could find it again.

I noticed that there were no California cities on that list. San Diego's nice except for the excessive number of border hoppers. :p

I would think San Diego, CA

If I could afford it, I'd probably live in SD.

i have a friend who lives in Rancho Bernarndino, which is 30-40 minutes north from downtown. He bought a brand new house for less than 100k. It is VERY nice house and so is the neighborhood. It has local school, supermarkets, hardware stores, but no large shopping malls.

I thought only tool sheds and caves went for under $100,000 in Cali.

They should cross reference their data with most desirable cities to live in. I'd prefer almost anything on the west coast to any of those cities.

just checked with yahoo's real estate, I guess I was either misinformed or left a zero somewhere. :(
