Best place to get a 900nf or 700nf for cheap?

50 dollar coupon!!!!! I saw no such coupon at bargaintech (reverse it)!!!!! can you private message me the source of that coupon please!?!

dc tell me more about that coupon, it'd be very helpful for me when I make recommendations as well as for other people's savings.

Any other places? Has Samsung already issued new rebates for the month or are the ones listed on the website old?

The best place to buy monitors right now is from amazon.com. They have free shipping and no tax to 49 states. They also have better prices than Onvia.com. $420 for the 900NF and $398 for the KDS AV-195TF. If you can find better let me know!!

Hopefully, Samsung will rebate their nf series this month and onvia will put out another coupon. That would just be so awesome. 50 bucks coupon at onvia plus 30 bucks rebate from samsung equals 364!

I ordered my 900nf from Onvia yesterday. ~$445 delivered. Looks like I coulda saved a few bucks had I known about Amazon. Oh well.

IAC, Onvia has a new policy (perhaps driven by the monitor mfgs?) of not accepting defective products for return. I was told the mfgs (like Samsung and Viewsonic) wish to deal with defective products directly.

[shrug] I HOPE it's a non-issue. ;-)

Are ANY defective pixels considered a defect? Just curious.

Darn it! I was really hoping to get the price down in to the high 300s. Looks likes it will be in the 450s. DARN IT!

It's still the best bang for the buck 19" despite being $450. The prices can only get better.

Onvia's new policy is largely due to their high number of returns on the Sony G400 monitor (which they dropped BTW). See previous threads on the Sony, it's been a nightmare for Onvia.

Re: Defective pixels. Depends on the manufacturer. Some accept a certain number of dead pixels, others do not. Viewsonic and Mitsubishi accept a certain number of them, and it depends on which region of the screen they are located. Sony does not accept them. Can't say for Samsung or KDS ...

True, mainly because the packaging(I heard) is really bad and when the monitor gets to the "victim" in the mail, the packaging has given way and the monitor is damaged. You think for that price, Sony could pack their monitors like Mushkin ram.

Hahaha... Syborg, Midnight is the guy who told us the wonderful stories about Sony's packaging. Some Sony zealot just dont know when to shut up sometimes.
