For 500 shirts, you are cutting time short. Best bet would be to find a local screen shop as others have mentioned.

My wife started an embroidery business (karcoembroidery.com) on the side and I can tell you that you better hurry up and get your order in before they charge you extra for a rush order.

Well, 500 actually kinda is bulk, so you might not want to go to an alternator shop.

There are many shops that charges around $2.75- $3 per shirt for 144 qty after setup fee and shipping. but I do not know about quality of print and shirt. (based on 1 color design)
