NewEgg.com

Always a pleasure ordering from them.

Check the AT Hot Deals forum as well, see if there is anything you could use for your set up. :)

I third newegg.com

Other good sites are

zipzoomfly.com (good but quickly changing sales)
and
mwave.com (haven't heard much here)

I have also baught my parts from newegg many times, but was just making sure there weren't any other great deals going on somewhere else. I currently have it priced at newegg(shipping/rounded numbers) at:

ABIT IP35-E LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail
97$

mushkin 4GB(2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail
$140

Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3250310AS 250GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM
$70

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4GHz 2 x 4MB L2 Cache LGA 775 Processor - Retail

Better deals:

Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3250410AS 250GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM $70 at Newegg
(16MB cache better than 8MB cache @ same price)

abit IP35 + Q6600 $375 at Mwave (after $25MIR)
(Raid + Firewire motherboard at same price as IP35-E, Q6600 for $20 lower than Newegg)

Transcend 2x2GB DDR2-800 (CAS 5 1.8V) $91 at Newegg
Much cheaper than the memory you chose, will work just as well.

Total: $536 (after $25MIR)

Keep in mind you need a good power supply (500W minimum) from a good manufacturer (Antec, Corsair, Fortron, etc) to get the stable power required by a quad-core processor. If you plan to overclock your quad-core cpu you are also going to need a good aftermarket heatsink/fan (Tuniq Tower 120 for $45 is probably the best performance/value model right now).

Uhh at mwave i have a lot of motherboards to pick from.. not including the IP35-E.. what would be my best choice from the list they offer? Best performance / lowest price.

Do you not see the link I gave you?

Abit IP35

Then add the Q6600 in the CPU OPTIONS drop-down menu to the right of the "Buy" button. Priced at a mere $269 here. Enjoy!
