Looking to buy a bed for my 3 1/2 year old son. His crib converts into a toddler bed but we are going to give it to my 1 yr old daughter to use as a crib.

The crib/bed we bought from Behr's was from Baby's Dream and was rated high and was not cheap. But the furniture is a piece of crap. The rails on the dresser continually come out from the wood. You can't screw them back in because the wood is crap. I contacted the company and left a message on their facebook page but it got deleted.

We want something that will last him into his teen years. My parents still have the furniture they bought me back in the day.

Been looking at Costco because we trust them and have a great return policy. Not sure if we want to do stores like Behrs, Raymore & Flannigan, etc.

I'd honestly look into an Amish shop and see if you find something you like. It'll be made out of real wood and use tried and true wood crafting that should hold up to abuse.
