287 posts and you dont know where this thread belongs?

Anyway, a search for clie brought up a few deals. How about starting there.

Thanks for the support olouie. Emonkey, have you ever actually looked in the off-topic forum? I wouldn't get any information out of that forum. And I have searched and found some deals, but I was only asking for a little assistance from the experienced shoppers in this forum. God forbid you ever asked for anything in your life.

I would say Dell.com has the best deals out right now. They have 10% off PDA's in their software/peripherals store (home and home office) and there is a stackable coupon ($25 off $200) floating arround at some "Techbargains" site. Combined you could save some cash. Plus no tax in most states, and shipping now (until Wed) is free.

Just as an example, their Clie PEG-T665 Color is priced at $399.

$399 - 10%($39.90) - $25 = $334.10 Shipped!

Amazon has it for $377 shipped free
Gateway has it for $369 (before tax and shipping)

Most other places have it for $399

Might want to read what you are supposed to read before posting here. Look at the sticky

**** Hot Deals Forum Rules - Please read before posting ****

There is even a thread there for this exact type of post.

You already stated in your first post that it should probably off topic or at least maybe in the General Hardware forum or maybe even in the IWANNA topic... there are a lot of different places this would be okay, but not really here.

Hot Deals
Post the hottest prices and deals you've found on the net in the AnandTech Hot Deals forum. Please stick to deals you've found, not items you are seeking. This is NOT a shopping service.

because you can't follow directions?

Please read before posting is pretty simple.

Many of us read hundreds of posts on here a day, why should we have to read through threads like this when they don't even belong here.

If you're still here reading this thread, try the IWANNA forum also. They have a few nice people who will look out for deals. :)

Dude, how hard is it to follow directions though... he obviously knew it was the wrong forum so why even post it? If everyone did what he did then there would be no Hot Deals forum, just a forum filled with junk posts. It is not that hard to do a little extra work to post in the correct area.

- Blargh.
- This forums gets worse and worse all the time - I gave up posting in 2000 :)

- Lol I'm sure there are those around who remember when EVERY post was about the WMC- When Joking was OK - but that was before there were like 30K posters ripping each other apart

- Kind of reminds me of the scene in Pitch Black where the flying creatures are ripping each other apart... Think about that next time you thread crap.

- To the self rightious, you COULD be searching through the forums looking for what you want, ignoring this message - as MOST users will.

But I'd like to thank Brunell8 for some other places to read, haven't read sysopt or techimo before. VERY Happy about that!

- you would do well to also read Fatwa.let (noted you left it out of your list)

(Lol don't you realize by thread crapping you just bring it to the top, causing more readers to read it - you are just as much the problem.)

:- End Rant -:

probably the same reason why i never go to the board u mentioned above.

I guess now you know that you will not get any info in hot deals (when you post off topic) & you will also get ripped apart.

Please, one notice of "you are posting on wrong forum" is enough.

Leave the locking and moving the thread to the mods.

Meanwhile, stop trying to be smarta$$e$ and stop the flaming please.

Bumping helps the mods see it :)

brunell8 gets ripped apart because he didn't read the forum rules, or if he did, he didn't follow it. I'm sure that bothers a lot of us.

And many people are flaming him to increase their own post count. Note, I said many and not all.
