Best place to buy a double vanity?

I'm building a new master bedroom/bathroom and I'm looking for something like this:
http://www.overstock.com/Home-Garden...&searchidx=218

I'm reluctant to buy online, but don't have many specialty stores in my area and am afraid of quality from big box stores like Lowes/Home Depot. They all tend to have cheap drawers and MDF construction.

Does anyone know of any specialty stores between Atlanta, Nashville, and Charlotte? 😀

Then order one from Lowe's or Home Depot. Most of what I found at those two stores, usually order only, were all solid wood, not MDF construction. Mostly plywood construction like kitchen cabinets are done.

For instance, this one is plywood sides, birch otherwise:

Of course, it only has 1/2" plywood sides, but that shouldn't be too bad.

HD and Lowe's has a wide variety of no MDF constructed vanities.....with and without tops.

Like this one:

Solid wood and plywood, no MDF anywhere. Of course, you have to ignore the allen + roth brand which is all MDF.

Best suggestion, go to the closest Lowe's or Home Depot, talk with them. They can show you what is and isn't MDF made, and if not in stock, they can order and ship-to-store for no charge.

If you are buying brand name stuff, there are a number of good places to look. Recently I purchased a Ronbow vanity from wayfair.com and had an excellent experience. They price match (and will often beat) well known competitors, and most purchases earn store credit that can be used for more stuff. Their online Q&A was very responsive too in my experience, even though it is not done through a live chat session.

That said, I echo other poster's sentiments and suggest that you hire a local cabinet maker. Most "stock" vanities come in set sizes. E.g., 60"
, 72", 96", etc., but in my experience the dimensions of a location for a vanity often differ from the stock dimensions. Having a custom cabinet made will allow you to get what you want in whatever size you need. Not to mention that it will usually be constructed of better materials (meaning it will last longer).

The Ronbow vanity I purchased was for a small powder room. It was exactly what I wanted and Ronbow has a good reputation for durability and construction (well deserved, IMO). That said, we are redoing our master bath (right now, actually), and decided to go with a custom double vanity and matching custom laundry/towel cabinets due to dimensional considerations. Easier to adapt the cabinet to the space than the space to the cabinet.
