Any sites where you're only semi-raped on a Disney trip?

Looking to stay in the resort for a couple nights end of the month, and no clue which of the zillions of sites is better than the other.

This has been repeated many times but, the best place to book Disney trips is with Disney.

Just got back from WDW on Friday, had an absolute blast with the wife and 7 years old. 3 days of WDW, a day of Universal, and a day at the space center (where we saw Transformers in 3D on their huge imax screen). If you are active, or retired military, the shades of green was awesome, great hotel for 130 a night on WDW property. My only regret was squeezing Epcot and Animal Kingdom into one day.

I worked a summer at Disney in Orlando (free access and parking to all parks!). You need a full day at Epcot.

I haven't been to Animal Kingdom since about 2 years after it had opened. It deserved only a half-day back then. Has it gotten better?

It's not that it has gotten better, but when you try to to do two parks in a day, you get good lines in the morning at the first park, then the afternoon is absolute chaos and long lines, and fastpasses aren't much help when the return time is several hours later.

You, like most folks, suffer from 'Got to do everything in one day or I'll explode!' -itus.

Every park deserves at least one day. Epcot can't be fully enjoyed in less than 3 days. The secret to enjoying Disney is to find a place you like and stay awhile. You get no points for seeing everything (impossible), you get no points for visiting 3 parks in one day (foolish and hard on the feet) and, you get no points for cramming the most rides into one trip.

And yeah I honestly think all of the parks deserve one day but you may be able to do Hollywood in half if you get there early. I cannot stress this enough, if you want to ride Toy Story Mania you really need to try to get there for the AM Extra Magic Hours. It's one of the coolest rides I've ever been on anywhere and has the lines to go with it.

We actually got in almost everything we wanted to do. Would I have liked to stay longer, sure. It just didnt work out that way. We did a full day at magic kingdom (9-1 in the morning), did a full day at hollywood studios, saw everything that we wanted to see at epcot in a half day, but animal kingdom was the only real bust. Lesson learned, but what are ya gonna do. Next time we go, I hope to dedicate about 6 or 7 days just to disneyworld.

Overall, the trip was a blast and my son got to fight darth vader.

There's no way you could eat at even half the restaurants in Epcot in half a day but, kids have different priorities. 😀

Did you know you can get a private tour of the hydroponics at Epcot? Or, you can tour one of the largest fireworks factories in the world also at Epcot? You can even volunteer as a scene dresser and get to help redo an area before the park opens. They change everything from lighting, to plants, to architecture and even animatronics.

Seriously, there are so many things to see and do that people miss out on because they don't take advantage of what Disney offers. You don't have to be needy, a celebrity or, anyone special. All you have to do is call Disney and tell them the kinds of things you or, your kid are interested in and they WILL make your visit unforgettable.

Now that I didnt know. I will be going back, this was the first of many trips there, and I will remember what you said. That's pretty awesome.
