Hey guys, just wanted to get your opinions on the best OC, Intel board in the $100-$200 price range for a Q6600 setup. As of now, I'm leaning towards the Asus P5K-E Wifi just cuz of the solid reviews and the price being the sweet spot for me (I'd preferably spend up to $150 max but if the board is worth it, willing to go to $200). I know that the IP35-E, DS3L, and DS3R are also popular boards, but just wondering if I might've overlooked any other solid mobos.

I would look no farther than the Asus P5K-E Wifi. I have had it since August and have had zero issues with it running a Q6600 at 3ghz/BFG 8800GTS 640 OC2 / 2GB Crucial 8500 Tracers. It has been rock solid and the Wifi is a nice bonus that I never thought that I would use. I have it set up on a computer cart with a Soyo 24" LCD and can roll it around the house as needed, just one power cord to plug in.

PS- I got mine from Directron back in the summer on a special and it was about $150 shipped.

I'll put in my vote for the DFI LT P35-T2R. No heatpipes, 8-phase Digital PWM. I just upgraded to this with a Q6600, and am running at 3.5GHz Prime-stable with 8Gig of RAM (running just below DDRII-800 speeds)

I second that! I have the P5K-E and have had zero problems. Great board for the $$$!

Foxconn Mars. The only bad thing about it might be the large northbridge cooler, which looks like it might cause trouble for some heatsinks. It is a 10/10 board otherwise. I don't know why it's not selling better at Newegg. I guess most people don't know WTF Foxconn is.

Depends how much you really want to spend and what you need. Abit IP35 Pro would be my vote since you can get them for $150 after rebate and it should have pretty much anything you'd want and is a awesome overclocker. Abit boards are superb once again and generally allow you to get a bit more out of your memory than other motherboards. If you want something at the low end of that spectrum, I'd do the MSI P35 Neo2-FR. I am a DFI fan as well, so the DFI LT P35-T2R is nice, but is priced to close to the IP35 Pro (after rebate) IMO to recommend over it.
