Hi,
I will slowly be building/upgrading my computer, ,parts of which are 5 years old. Currently, I'm running a P3 750 on an Asus P2B using a slocket power adapter (the P2B doesn't support the 750's voltage). Eventually I would like to buy a system based on the AMD hammer, but those are only expected out later this year and definitely won't be available for a reasonable price till early next year. So, for the time being, I would like to upgrade my motherboard for < $100, without upgrading the CPU or memory. I'm more interested in getting more PCI slots and additional features than increasing the speed by spending $400 on good quality MB/CPU/memory. So, what is the best P3 MB available right now? I won't be using > 512 MB RAM, so I guess the 815 is OK. I don't really need integrated sound, but integrated network or firewire would be nice.
Thanks,
David Levitan

I've been partial to the Asus CUSL2/TUSL2 ever since they came out. Granted, they don't have the onboard LAN/firewire(probably none have firewire, gonna need an add-on card), they were possibly the best P3 socketed boards ever made. Should be near your price range, and they overclock(if you're into that) like a mutha.
6 PCI, ATA100, 6USB, and lots of little things that lower end boards don't have.
Check into them, their reviews are probably really good(I haven't looked for two years).

Thanks for the responses. I had already been loking at the TUSL2, so I went ahead and ordered it.
Thanks for the help,
