Best Overclocking Ram

I want to OC my processor but my memory is holding me back. I've been looking at DDR500 PC4000. Is that a good speed? I found some GeIL memory for about $68. It's 512MB (2x256). Is that a good one for OC memory? Any recommendations or comments would be greatly appreciated.

Well if you're going to OC your CPU clock to 500MHz that RAM would work well at a 1:1 ratio. That's about the extent of my knowledge...

Wait a second, you have a 333MHz FSB processor? Can the Sempron 2600 (1.6GHz) reach 500MHz (2.5GHz)?
You may want to just go with DDR400 (PC3200) RAM and OC the processor to 200Mhz (2GHz).
Corsair Value Select should be fine in your case.

my brother tried OC and it only got to 1.7GHZ and it wasnt stable. I've heard people say that they've gotten theirs to 2.4GHz.
