Ok, I know newest isn't always best..so from experience what bios version do you guys recommend on the 3000+ winchester?

i would like to know people's opinions on this also

Athlon64 3200+ 90nm @ 2.5GHz (250x10)
MSI K8N Neo2 Platnium BIOSv1.3
2x512MB Corsair XMS XL 3200+ Platnium TwinX 2.5-3-3-7-2T DDR500
Thermalright 948U All-Copper Heatsink
Vantec Stealth 92mm CPU Fan
ThermalTake 480w Purepower W0020+PFC
Gigabyte GeForce 6800GT @ 400/1100

From what I've heard people have achieved the highest overclocks with the 1.37mod, it can be found on http://www.lejabeach.com/MSIK8N/k8nneo2.html. I use this version myself and I could not be happier.

Note.
All options are visible and unlocked, i.e. "reset configuration data" and "+18.3% vcore".

AMD Athlon 64 3500+ 0.13µ @ 2.50 GHz with Thermalright XP-90 with Papst 3412N/2GL
OCZ EL PC3200 Platinum Revision 2 @ 500 MHz with 2.5-3-3-10 1T
MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum 54G (Bios 1.37mod, Vcore 1.525V+3.3%, Vdimm 2.85V)
Aopen nVidia 6800 Ultra @ 450MHz/1200MHz
WD Raptor 36.7GB and Hitachi 7k250 160GB (on SATA 3/4)
Cooler Master Stacker with OCZ Powerstream 520W

I used to use the 1.37mod bios until I saw the 1.41mod posted. Unfortunately in 1.37mod the voltage increase settings do not stick if you use anything above 10%.

I did notice that the 1.2 bios (which used straight up values for vcore 1.65v, 1.75v, 1.85v) gave me voltage readings closer to the value I set. Right now 1.550v + 10% gives me 1.63v in the bios.

+10% increases the voltage 10% from the stock voltage.

Well, i have a winchester 3200+
I think the stock vcore is 1.4v
so the highest i could get this is 1.54v?
1.4v @ 10% = 1.54v?
I cant even get 1.6v?
im stable right now at 2.2GHz (220x10) HTT 4x @ 1.4v
my goal is to get to 2.5GHz (250x10)
but will settle for 2.4GHz (240x10)
