Put together my second PC a few days ago, I have been running Windows XP 64 Pro, I'm curious how stable it is for overclocking?
My computer spec are,
q6600 @ 2.4
4 x 1gb ram Crucial Ballistix DDR 800 4-4-4-12 Memory
MSI 8800 Ultra 768mb
EVGA 650i Ultra Mobo
Thermaltake Typhoon HS
Hiper 580W PSU
Currently with default setting I am running about 28C and 35C under load. I ran the NVIDIA onboard O/C utility and it clocked 2.655 ghz with FSB @ 1180 and memory at something like 900MHZ.
A few things, for the best gaming is getting the highest frequency from the CPU the best for overall performance or what? Or for the best performance is it a combination of getting a balance of ram timings + CPU + FSB?
