I would say Win98,some games still have problems with WinME.

I'd say a stripped down WinMe (slighty better stability since they ripped DOS out) if all you're doing is playing games. If playing games and using it for ANYTHING else though (even webbrowsing) I'd say to use Win2k.

I always had win98 lockup cstrike when someone icq'd me and it would switch out. WIn2k has no problems, i can even switch to my desktop while i am dead and do something else and then switch back with no fear of lockup or even losing sound like win98 did. I also get even higher fps now that i did some tweakage. Just make sure you create a seperate nonadministrator account to play games with.

I think Win2k is the best.

If you install all the right drivers, your games (CS,Q3,UT,AoK2..) should have no problem running on it.
You do take a very little performance hit(with the latest drivers..), but you won't see the blue screen anymore....

And you feel you have alot more control over your PC or OS??.

Tweaked Winme for the none win2k games. And all other software on win2k.
Dual boot computer with those two is best.

Was wondering how do you disable pchealth

Is it ok to just delete it out of register in the run,run sercies, and run once area?

DOS!

well win98 or winME since you may need to run your rdrom

Lynix &
Mac-Lacks full hardware support
(although Linux dont lack much)

Win2k-Throws any "out of sys instruction" thus cuasing confliction with even some microsoft based games

What's the advantage in doing that?
