Not a lot of mobos really stand out in my mind as having lots of troubles. The only "good" ones I even remember by name: Asus A7N8XE, ECS K7S5A, most DFI stuff.

I always buy mobos in combo deals with CPUs now, so I don't really get as attached to them as the CPU, video card, or case.

Interesting use of first post...

Tho did bring up a bit of nostaligia, I probably had more fun on my EPoX 8KHA+ than any other board I've owned.

8k3a+ user here. It's about to go back into service this summer. HDD crashed on my dad (not bad for a Maxtor from 200...1?). Felt like a badass overclocking my xp 1800+ to a 1900+ and running it for a decade LOL. I bought an XP 2500+ for nothing on ebay--curious to see how far I can go, just for the hell of it (before I go back to stock--no need to risk frying anything). I am not an overclocker (no need), but it was fun to play, and the board is rock solid. The 8 HDD slots never hurt, either. Great for capping cable tv with my ATI all-in-wonder.
