Best options for cell phone for audio(Moto G or Lumia)

Hi. Long time lurker. In fact, many moons ago, I had an account.

I am looking for some info to help with a purchase of a cell phone that will be used almost exclusively for music. I am considering the Moto G with SD card expansion or the Lumia.

1. Which of these 2 has better sound quality(subjectively)?
2. Which has better battery life if only using as audio player? I need 24 hrs.
3. Do these lag if you access all your music from the SD card? Does the artists list stutter?
4. Can I use a 128 GB card in the Moto G? I read somewhere I may be able to use it but it'll default format to 32GB. Is this accurate?

Owned both types:


1)Lumia hands down. Better/deeper sound for my taste.
2)Not sure how to answer this. Depends which Lumia. Any should give you 24hr, G probably longer overall.
3)I noticed a lag on every phone using a sd card with 1000+ songs.
4)No sure. I did use a 256gb on my Lumia. It wasn't anywhere close to being full so I'm not sure if that would matter. Specs said max card of 64 or 128? Not sure why.
