i've tried dozons of mice and I have concluded that the microsoft blue mouse is the best for me. but the freakin' plastic things at the bottom keep getting scarred up and collect dirt after time. any bright ideas where I can replace the garbage plastic parts that make it ez to slide?

I don't get the point of a RTS mouse... you really only need the left and right mouse buttons.

I could see one with lots of buttons being very handy for Starcraft if you bind the extra ones to your favourite keyboard shortcuts.

bah, left and right click are all you need, with a scroll wheel. any more and you are a pansy. that said, the Razer Krait says its optimised for RTS (but dont believe it, Razer hype products more than any company ever)

All you need is a two button mouse, a keyboard, and two hands.

Get a new mouse pad. A synthetic cloth pad should be much better on the mouse feet. If you've got one of those, then ???

Same situation. Except my pads keep falling off, had to use super glue in the end.

MX510/518/G5 are the best mice in general. Using one right now, actually :D.
