I'll soon be working on a budget Duron system. I'm looking for good prices
but I also want a company that will back me up if anything goes wrong and send
everything nice and new ( I've got parts before that seemed used, or just badly
packaged ).

Any suggestions? How's newegg.com?

Thanks.

<< i like mwave.com and newegg.com >>

OK, question for you guys. I have been quite happy with mwave for a long time. Last week I ordered from newegg. (mwave didn't have the Hercules Game Theater XP that I decided I require)

Are these the same company or some how related? Ever notice how besides a few cosmetic differences, their websites are identical. Shipping policy is identical also. (and worded the same way)

Just curious

I've never ordered from newegg, but I've ordered a lot from mwave without issue and would do it again in a heartbeat. Another place I like ordering from is http://www.tcwo.com/.

My favorites...(not in any special order)

newegg.com
egghead.com
buy.com
mwave.com
minotaur.com
googlegear.com
tccomputers.com
necxdirect.com

That list there should drain your wallet. :)

I always give mwave the first shot. Never had a problem with buy.com, either.

<< I've tried compuplus before. Not too bad. >>

If you don't mind paying $30 for ground shipping a stick of RAM or a single CPU!

Newegg is cool but if you're in the market for anything Scsi go to hypermicro.com. They have reasonable prices on shipping too for fedex.

I like mwave, personally. I used to use compuplus.com, but I haven't ordered anything form them in about 2 yrs.

Newegg gets a lot of good reviews, but I've had some bad experience with them on returns.

Mwave pretty much gets all my business now decent prices but not rock bottom internet prices. No hassle returns. Good selection. Everything is ground shipped Fedexe now at very good rates. I just put in a order Monday morning and had it ground shipped. Fedexe already delivered it this morning.

Newegg.com and www.tcwo.com pretty much got my business...

newegg great prices and some good deals on shipping...

tcwo.com good prices, great warranties and customer service, plus flat out best shipping rates 6.95 up to 150lbs...

i've dealt with both newegg.com and mwave.com nad have had good experiences. i think newegg has really good prices but there product line is slim compared to mwave. also, i have never had to deal with returning merchadise so i can't help you there.

you may want to check here: www.resellerrating.com
they have reviews of lots of companies and stuff.

hope this helps,
