Make him leave his door open most of the time. Sweaty farting boy spending 8+ continuous hours in a room with no airflow is bound to start smelling funky.

Tell him you've installed a camera. *THAT* will put an end to the "strange smells". Seriously though, is your son into a lot of sports? Sports equipment (pads, etc) gets NASTY if he's storing it in a closet.

Febreeze, open window, and a plug-in air freshener or two. oh, and make sure the laundry doesn't pile up. my sister's room always smelled bad because she'd let wet towels pile up for a couple days before washing them.

the open window is the big one, IMO. my room always smelled kinda funky as a teenager because there was no airflow (didn't masturbate in my bedroom and had good hygiene).

Stink foot,
get rid of carpet,
Odor Eaters,
new odor fighter socks,
new boxers,
Wet clothes will stick up the place fast!

I always put my dirtry/worn,clothes in the laundry,at least every 2 days.
Just because the clothes Look clean does Not mean they smell clean.

Another thing that helps is clean bedding {sheets,pillow case,etc}
a New pillow will help,I notice after about a year my pillows start to smell odd,
{when its warm I sweat even asleep}

Fresh air!

Good luck,I recall when I was 13 or so;my Dad had to bluntly tell me you stink,and need to wash
your armpits,and shower/bathe every day.!:eek:

Other than more showers, clean clothes, new shoes/socks, dirty laundry goes elsewhere, no food, garbage out every day, clean bedding, etc?

There's just something about "eau de teenage boys" that we have to get rid of. No, I don't want to know what it is. I just want to get rid of it.

Help?

Did anyone suggest increasing ventilation by running a fan in his window sucking air out??

unplug his internet and tell him to go outside.

if that doesnt work, try a combo of incense (unless ur afraid hell smoke up in there then) and air neutralizers.
