Best OCing board for my 2100+ T-bred and (2) 256mb PC2700 ?

My Soltek 75frn died after a year of use...though the 2100+ and PC2700 are still strong, the 2 PC2700 modules are excellent performers and will at least handle 180fsb and maybe more if I have the ability to add some voltage.


What is the best OCing board I can get right now that wont be overkill for my CPU and ram?

The ram and CPU are worthless in the used market so I might as well keep them...I have them in a Gigabyte board right now but it sucks and will be getting returned.


The 75FRN was great but I am not too enthused that it dies so soon...id get another but I'd like to try something new for a change.

thanks guys...I may have tried that Abit if it were available locally.
I already bought a Gigabyte board locally after the Soltek dies so since I was returned a board I used I felt obligated to buy something from them.

Fortunately for me they had a Gigabyte GA-7N400 Pro2 marked for $79 on a clearance table, this is a loaded Nforce 2 board so I picked it up.

It has some nice OCing features , I am taking it easy for now but I have my 2100+ @ 2400+ and 166fsb without any issues.

I think the max stable I had my Soltek board at was 188fsb , I got it to boot up @ 200fsb once.

Frankly I never saw the difference after 166 besides on benchmarks so its likely I will leave my new Gigabyte where its at for the long haul.


Now that I got SATA and RAID capabilities I may look into using one of those features to gain some performance.
