Best o/c'ing results w/ 1800+

What are the best overclocking results I can expect from an 1800+ w/o unlocking the chip? For cooling I was looking at the SK-6, Coolermaster heatpipe, or the Alpha 8045. Any thoughts? Are the performance gains and bragging rights worth about $40 for those coolers. Oh yeah, no matter which heatsink i got I would be using a delta 6800RPM fan.
thanks,

Those are all good heatsinks with the Alpha being the best I think. I have the 8045 w/ a Panaflo L1A on my 1600+ @ 1.51GHz right now (haven't tried pushing it yet) and temps are around 45C full load. Even if you don't overclock much it's good to have a decent HSF. People are usually getting around 1.6-1.7GHz with there 1800+'s. Look at www.overclockers.com under the CPU database.

That is a very annoying fan. It sounds like a hairdryer and puts out a terrible whine. You are better off getting a Thermalright AX-7, SK6, or Alpha 8045 and using an 80mm fan.

Bigger the heatsink, smaller the fan. When I went to an 1800XP from a 1.4, my temps dropped about 5c and then with a swiftech mxcx370, another few degrees.

I run the 8045 on the 1.4 at 1.5 now and its doing better than with the old GW. Bigger heatsink works.
