best nvidia card?

Im looking at the 5900...it looks close to the 9800 pro.....i just want the nview plus still be able to play games real good....whats the best brand now? I havent bought nvidia in a long time

Just out of curiosity why are you switching to nvidia? Or are you gonna keep the 9800 pro? What exactly does nview do?

I'm extremely happy with my Aopen FX5900... it overclocks very well, higher than the average 5900... currently at 490/940... I can make it go higher, but I get instability in games if the GPU is any higher, or tearing if the RAM is any higher.

Can you game at 490/940? Just curious because I found my highest stable gaming clocks to be 485/1000, I can usualy only play for 10 minutes or so at 490.
What can you bench at?

Ok, On Topic now: The 5950 is the best nVidia card, but is very expensive. I would suggest the 5900Ultra, it should do anything you want.

The best nVidia card would be either the 5900se, or the 5700 Ultra, why? These are reasonably priced cards that offer some impressive performance features. The 5950 is king, but its SOOOOOO expensive. If cost isn't an option, the 5950 is your dream-card.

i find nview has a lot more "fingertip funcionality" than hyrdavision, and fewer bugs...for example, if i had the hydravision utility running and i logged in to my pc over remote desktop, the video would crash (I have 2 monitors on my desktop)
nview is ok with this...i don't know if there is anything else.

The best would be the 5900 Ultra. As far as brands, take your pick. BFG Tech, eVGA. I don't know about Leadtek, but I hear good things. Some of their heatsink fans are OOGLEI though.
