It's a tough decision between those new ones though.
IS the 6800XT better then a 6600GT and which of the two is better between 6800 vanilla and 6800XT?

The 6800XT is just a little faster than a 6600GT but slower than a 6800NU (not by much though). I'd get the XFX 6800XT as it has GDDR3 and should overclock higher on the memory.
