Best Notebook under $2K

Have an old Dell XP which is dying.

Specs for me:

Minimum 17 inch screen with no glare-maybe HD.
4 USB Ports at least one USB 3.0
8 Gig RAM
Blu Ray
802.11 N WIFI
HDMI
Cool running
Uses: e-mail, Internet, Microsoft Office, VPN access, video and potential gaming.
Don't know if I should go for i5 or i7 core.
Long lasting battery
Sandy Bridge chipset.
What Version of Windows 7?

Thanks, Ed

You may want to check out MSI. Their mid level notebooks (mine was $749, from Newegg) are better than many that costs $1,200 or more.

Plus you don't get screwed on the video card, I got a Nvidia GT 425M, to go with the Intel i5. Many high priced ones has integrate cards.
