Consider my situation. Things need to be planned well in advance. If something is overlooked or forgotten or doesn't work because of a mistake in planning the time to correct it is thrice as long as most users because I'm only at the homeport once a week.
Buying something knowing you have to hack it up to make it work is something different altogether and in many cases unavoidable. With the DFI cooler it wasn't obvious despite the frequently asked question "Does the TRUE fit?" asked on clunkforums not getting answered for over a week. It fits with the HS turned 90 degrees (completely unacceptable). If the T part of the base is lopped off and the HS is mounted so the heatsink is closer to the upper PCI-E slot (where most put their movie card) it will fit. Not lopping off the T results in the TRUE's heatpipes hitting that part.
