best "normalizer" for iTunes on the mac?

In the iTunes preferences you can turn on Sound Check. That will set the playback volume on all songs to the same levels.

This apparently has no effect when creating MP3 CDs.

At least the last CD I made (last week) has me adjusting my sound way too often in the car

OK, then turn on Sound Check for burning.

Itunes Preferences -> Advanced -> Burning -> Sound Check
