Best non-SLI motherboard offering dual-core support?

I bought one of those Athlon 64 X2 3800+ and ECS nforce4a-939 combos from Fry's on black friday, but that ECS motherboard is causing problems... So what I'm basically looking for is a socket 939, non-SLI PCI-E motherboard that supports dual core athlons. I don't intend on OCing. Any suggestions?

Yeah. This is going to be a Christmas present, so it wouldn't be very nice of me to give an unstable system as a gift 😱

I'm running the BFG nForce 4 Ultra....same as the Chaintech one, but comes with alifetime warranty and 24/7 tech support....(not based in india!!)

I guess I got lucky with the MB, but I am still just running memtest right now at 250.

Does the system boot at all?
I flashed the BIOS to 1.1a, then I needed to clear the CMOS to boot.

I will probably end up getting a new MB eventually.

The ASUS A8N-E or the MSI K8N Neo4 would be the ideal choice for ya since u say that ur not gonna OC. These boards also offer good OC options though not like the DFI's. The MSI has Firewire and has Creative Onboard which are added bonuses.

@RampantAndroid, Am an Indian, pal. Pls. do realize that a number of Indians visit this forum. I do know how u feel abt this outsourcing thing. I was a Tech Support Engg. for HP and I've received positive comments from almost every customer that I spoke to. I also agree that the quality of English in certain places is bad here but not everywhere.

Then I suggest a Chaintech VNF4 Ultra.

I'd go the extra step and make that the BFG VNF4...same motherboard as the chaintech, but you get 24/7 tech support (USA based) and a lifetime warranty. That's something that is rare these days.
