Best non-drying soap?

CAW!

I typically use a bar soap such as Irish Spring, although I may start using moisturizing bars, as my skin is particularly dry in the winter. I shower each morning when I get up. After my breakfast I brush my teeth with Pepsodent toothpaste. I feel like it leaves less of a residue in my mouth, and it feels cleaner afterward. I then use a moisturizer on my face to ensure it does not appear dry as I head out for the day.

There is an idea of Caw!; some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me: only an entity, something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable... I simply am not there.

Any suggestions for relatively cheap soaps that don't dry out your skin?

I switched Dove for Men bar soap and my skin hasn't been as dry this winter as in the past. On sale it's generally a reasonable price.

You don't need to bother with non-drying soap. Soap is ideally used wet. Wash it off when you are done. 😛

TBH, this is a reason many people switch to a body wash instead of traditional soap. You may want to give it a shot. Irish spring (even the moisturizing with aloe) tends to dry your skin out.

I like Pears soap. If you don't mind it being made in India, you can get it at the dollar store. If you can find UK made product, I imagine it would be a good bit more expensive.

I think I just buy whatever Dove bar soap happens to be on sale. It's been much gentler on my skin compared with other bar soaps since I switched to it a few years ago.

Try a Glycerin soap, the soaps that are transparent. Neutrogena is one brand, but there are usually individually wrapped bars with various scents. They don't moisturize, but they don't dry out either(in my experience with Neutrogena anyway).
