I dislike Joe Buck, so I'll tend to skip games he's working.

Although, I do remember a couple seasons ago, he was discussing cleats with Troy Aikman during a broadcast (weather was a factor during this particular game). He declares that cleat length is something he doesn't understand, then proceeds to ask Troy something along the lines of "What's longer, 1/2 inch or 1/8th inch?".

Generally speaking, if I'm able to learn a couple new things during the course of a game (based on someone's analysis/explanation), then I enjoy the broadcast. So, that automatically eliminates any broadcast team Matt Millen is on. Having listened to him on several occasions, I can see why he was such a terrible GM.

Regarding the poll, for me it's a toss up between Nantz/Simms and Michaels/Collinsworth.

I was watching a game he did a couple years ago and he kept raving about the team's wide receivers. Considering the fact that it seemed like he was always drafting wide receivers with the Lions' #1 pick every year, I had to laugh.

I'll have to pick Michaels/Collinsworth because everybody else has one really annoying guy.

Buck, Theissman, Jaws/Gruden. Gruden's schtick where he gushes about how Vick, Brees, and Steve Smith always killed his team is starting to get old.

I dont mind Nantz and Simms but they are pretty boring.

Joe Buck is the worst of anyone listed in that poll, except for maybe the NFL Network guys.

I like the ESPN team, mostly because Jaws is actually informed.

Agree 100%. If Buck is announcing, I'll either mute or watch something else.

I prefer Al Michaels and Chris Collingsworth, but don't like Andrea Kremer.

Get them thar wimmenz off the field and out of the locker room!! 😛

As a Browns fan, I am completely unqualified to vote in this poll. It's a rare and special day to even have Dick Enberg calling a game.

Started to like Gruden at one time, but now, it seems everyone to him is the best at everything. It seems every game I hear something like:

"Ya know, Philip Rivers is the most accurate QB in the league."

or

"The Ravens have the best run blocking line in the league."

Which is then followed the next week by:

"Ya know, Tom Brady is the most accurate QB in the league."

or

"The Jets have the best run blocking line in the league."

I guess it gets annoying to hear that every game he is the commentator on always has the best whatever playing in front of him.

Aside from that, I usually enjoy his comments.

Can't stand Collinsworth.

Chris Collinsworth is amazing, he makes any team better. Aikman and Buck are terrible.

I really never realized there was so much disdain for Buck. I knew he wasn't "favored" among people, but such hatred? I really don't mind him at all.

I simply DO NOT SEE how people can ENJOY Nantz and Sims. Nantz needs to stick to golf and the Olympics and Sims... well... The most exciting thing he ever did was get hit in the face with a snowball.

matt millan still on NFLNN? he did the michigan uconn game a few weeks ago, still think that of any commentator abc could of brought in he brought in the state of michigans most hated sports icon.

Buck is even worse on Baseball. I like him when he is on talk shows (PTI, Dan Patrick) but as an announcer he stinks.

Damn that sucks. As a Cowboys fan I guess we're spoiled. It seems every game is a Sunday night game, the feature game on Fox, and even when it's neither of those we'll still get the moose and goose calling our games.

If I could pick my ideal team, I'd have Al Michaels with Aikman and Jaws.

This would be a great booth. Or Michaels, Aikman, and Collinsworth.

I think Aikman is the best color guy out there right now. Joe Buck tends to be pretty stupid though. Al Michaels is very good as a play by play guy. Jaws brings a unique (and usually accurate) analysis as well.

I used to hate Collinsworth, but I think he's improved a lot recently.

CBS, as a whole, is just bad. Their presentation isn't good, their announcers aren't good. CBS is stupid.
