Im doing my MBA online and it is all done through newsgroups. The problem is Outlook Express looks like crap. Is there a good app out there for reading newsgroups? I've noticed all readers tend to be geared strictly towards downloading ie. Newsbin Pro, Newsleecher

You want Xnews. It was designed primarily as an on-line newsreader (vs a binary downloader, even though XNews has that capability). Here's a Configuration Guide for it.

Very much a personal preference type of thing. I've owned Agent for years and though 3.1 has recently been released, the thing still feels old. Still no HTML reading from the email reader (unless you lauch the message) and you still need to double click each post.......just alot of stuff like this that makes me think the developers still live in 1995. I paid for Agent but now use Thunderbird. Not perfect as a NG reader but I prefer it over Agent and it's free.
