best network type for this?

I have one main computer in the living room (the one in my sig), and i am getting a little 486 pc, somewhere else in the house for other people to use while im on mine, like printing or using the net. both with have 98se.
I think a basic peer-peer setup and 2 cheap nics and utp cabling would be good, right?

Yes Win98se will peer to peer that setup just fine. Tho, that 486 is gunna be soooo slow with Win98se. If you have any friends that know linux, ask them to setup the 486 with linux, and the linux version of netscape. Linux would run alot better on the 486, while sharing the Win98se connection...

*just my 2 cents*
