best network drive

I'd go for a Seagate 400 gig. Great warranty and reliability; way cheaper than a 500 gig drive.

Edit: hmm, only $60 difference. $340 for a 500 gig drive on Newegg...

do you need NAS or is this just a drive for your system that will be shared across the network?

Is this a work system where you should be taking it offsite or for your home system? Either way I love Seagate drives my self so anything north of 200gb would work fine. could even go for .5Tb

its more of a home system but i do some work from home
i want to be able to take the videos and other files to other locations easily
i sort of desire the network drives over usb ones just b/c i could more easily access it from any computer in the house.
