Best NB air cooler

I have a Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H motherboard, and I'd like to replace the stock northbridge cooler with an aftermarket NB cooler.

I think I've narrowed my choices to either the Xigmatek PTR-CN881 Porter, or the Thermalright HR-05 IFX:

The Xigmatek has one 8mm direct-touch heatpipe, while the Thermalright has one 6mm non-direct-touch heatpipe, so I would guess the Xigmatek might do a better job. However I haven't found any reviews that include the both of them so I'm not sure.

Between these two coolers, what would people recommend for my motherboard.

The cheapest thing I've done with my UD3R NB HS was place a 120mm fan about 6" away from it and its taken the temps down ~ 4-6 *

i own 2 thermalright northbridge coolers, they are good enough at their job to be run passive on my 680i LT board. as for which is better, the SLI-IFX coolers from thermalright have 2 heatpipes, so it would be reasonable to assume that they move more heat off the chipset than the xigmatek one. from my experience though, the 1 and 2 heatpipe versions both cool just as well, though i might not have been putting enough stress on them to test that fact. i didnt even have much airflow going over them lol.

that base on the xigmatek doesn't look very impressive

I've been very happy with my hr-05
my TRUE's fan pulls the air thru both heatsinks as the fins line up. works good.
