As the title states.

I was looking at the creative zens and they're sexy but pricey..

So help a guy out here. I need it so I can tote my music to work...

Thanks,
Bill

I second the Zune. You might also check out Sony's new players (although you'll end up with low capacity). The Zen is a good player, and it does have an SD slot for storage expansion later (although it doesn't integrate with the onboard memory as of yet). You should actually be able to snag a used 30GB 5th gen iPod for about $100, which isn't a bad choice either. If you get lucky you might find a Creative Zen Vision: M for close to that. The Sansa Clip is worth checking out (should be a 4GB one for about $70 I believe).

mh47g, I agree with you that the new zen look really sexy and stylish. The price for the zen 32gb has also dropped! You may have to consider the type of players you are looking for:

-Harddisk/Flash => I would say that harddisk players are slowly replaced by flash players
-Capacity
-Must have features
-Purpose of use

I think the above factors are critical for your selection of the right model. Hope it helps!
