Yeah...it's a real shame that Dodge's sporty car line has shrivelled down to only include the Viper these days (A good car, but out of the reach of most of us)

I always liked the 1964 Pontiac Catalina 2+2 389 Tri Power, 4 Speed, 4.21 Posi traction car I used to own. It was realy cool to be able to eat Mustangs and Cameros for lunch.

I need to get another fun car not to say my restored 67 VW Beetle isn't fun. :D

<< Here is a real Muscle car, an Aussie one.... XC Cobra

And an XA Coupe

Lovely cars :)
>>

Wow - that XC Cobra is a cool looking car. Is it based on the 70 Boss 302?

edit: on second thought, is it based on the Mustang II?

Delaroy,

Nice cars! Wasn't the interceptor from "the Road Warrior" based on that Cobra? They look pretty close.

The Road Warrior Car was a 1973 XB GT Ford Falcon Coupe with a 351 V8 engine and a supercharger!!

It sucks cause I have never driven a muscle car... nor have I ever been in one while driving..
one of the dudes that was like head custodian believe it or not at my school, had a 1970 Dodge Challenger 340 six pack, he said it would do a pretty good job on a 5.0 Mustang but it wouldn't quite rip it a new one... That's pretty quick though.. those 5.0's are decently fast, and the 340 can take 'em... not too shabby :)
it was a nice looking car.. it was a cool metallic brownish color with white racing stripes.... sh1t i want a car like that !!!!

If my memory serves me correct, it had a cardboard supercharger on the bonnet. Pretty sure it was a fake one :)

But yeah, nothing nicer than an XB GT Coupe with a 351, toploader and a 9 inch in the back. Beats those plastic cars of nowadays! :)
