Best multiplayer games for a god awful slow connection?

I can't get broadband where I live right now. So I'm stuck with 31.2kbs. It sucks I know. Anyways that means I can't really play most games online.

Are there any games that are work well with that connection speed that are worth checking out?

eve online is designed for 56kbps modems in mind, and its for the most part a slow game unless you pvp which demands a bit more than 56kbps can do
but there is a very successful russian alliance there with lots and lots of players and most of them are on 56kbps,
 
try subspace....it's a simple space shooter game but very addiciting. I played it for a year straight when it came out.

I believe it's on that free dl list too
