Holy crap, a flamewar in an ipod thread and I haven't even posted yet? 😕 Anyway I personally wouldn't exercise with any hdd-based player, too much shaking and such. And of course iPods play mp3s. They don't play wma's, ogg's, or flac's.

haha, that was funny. thanks guys 😀

you can always tell when a n00b is going to make it around here.

Finally someone with a BRAIN shows up. thanks ed21x

I'm sorry. Brainless posters usually attract brainless responses. I'll try harder next time to convince an idiot that he's a dumbass, but for some reason I think you'll just post this same thing in their forum.

You're all fired. You are of no use to me you arrogant poor fools.

LOL! Best thread I've read today!

Drudo, here is a hint: if you are going to be using it in the gym, then get something with flash memory, plays .wma files (easily converted from .wav or .mp3)... 128MB of mp3 can easily be about 25-35 songs, if you compress them to .wma, you can fit 50+ songs.

drudo, i'd suggest going to best buy to check out which mp3 player's form factor you like best, then buying online.

How good are the Dell DJ's? They dropped price on them recently.

Cheers!

i love mine. sounds great and awesome battery life. i posted a mini-review on it here (w/pics), search for dell dj and it should come up.

I ended up getting the creative Nomad Muvo NX 256Mb for $79.99 at Fry's.... aside from the cheap ass ear buds, it's great. Heading out to the gym now.

I think he means the ability to use the MP3s after you put it in the player. I remember someone telling me you can't get music from the Ipods. Correct me if I'm wrong by not calling me an idiot!

You FREAKING idiot!

Just kidding. 😛 And yes, you can copy music from an iPod to your computer hard-drive.

RIO Karma. Gets good reviews. I have one, and think its great.

maybe you should turn it into a poll?
i know most like i-pods but thats just the way internet is. AT is supposed to be a place with more technologically aware folks, but most people here use winamp (sigh)

I used winamp, 'till i got my iPod, an i have ta say, iTunes is almost as good.

In some ways it actually better, in that it allows you to instantly find a song by keyword, although the inability to skin makes it kind of..blah.
