Well ive had this movie in my collection for 4 months and finally watched it

Better than SAVING PRIVATE RYAN!!!

The special effects and battles rock and are plentiful. Seriously the special effects are better than Saving private Ryan and the gore and brutality of war is shown beautifully. Never a dull moment

The plot rules too

The cinematography is superb. Looks like a top notch Hollywood Spielberg film. In Fact screw hollywood! This movie is amazing

Won Bin is so gorgeous!!

He was cuter in Autumn Tale and Friends though. Tae Guk Gi bored the hell out of me, and the english audio acting was hilarious.

horrible. i saw it in the theater. beyond the little style stolen from saving private ryan, its over long, it is over dramatic, over acted.. cliche ridden..just a big overwrought sappy contrived melodrama. its not like saving private ryan beyond the parts it rips off. its more like pearl harbor, but much much worse.

if you want a good korean film go watch old boy instead.
