Best movie so far - 2002?

road to perdition was too slow, spiderman was good, but not star wars/lotr great, and all the other movies were just so-so. LOTR:TT will be a great movie, so i'm still waiting for that 🙂
 
NO one mentioned RED DRAGON yet? Was I the only one who loved the movie? And Road To Perdition was great too.
 
ehh..didn't like road to perdition that much...it was OK...not great...i thought it was too cliche...

as for favorite....minority report was good....aha spiderman was coool too..

I dont think that many of the great movies have come out yet. Lord of the rings two towers will most likely be the best movie of 2003. Other good movies such as 007, and Star Trek: Nemisis have also yet to be released.

Entertaining, yes. But I don't think I would or will EVER consider a 007 or Star Trek film to be the best of any given year.

That's in like the bottom 5 worst movies (that came to theatre) of all time!


McPhreak While that is true, I like Bond and ST quite a lot, but they aren't really "best movie of the year" calibur...with the crap that has come out this year they are in the running...

LotR:TTT will easy take the title though, I think it will be better than FOTR.
 
We haven't been to theater as much this year compared to the past. But of the ones I've seen so far, I personally found The Ring to be very good. Freaked me out at the time though.
 
I have not seen any movies this year that I regard as classics, but so far my rankings are:

1) Minority Report
2) Insomnia
3) Spider-Man
4) One Hour Photo
 
Black Hawk Down was released in 2001, doesn't count for this year. 😉

3) The Ring
 
spiderman is so overrated. i'll have to vote for attack of the clones. sure spiderman did better but the box office isn't everything.

I didn't suggest it because of is BO, I thought it was one of the best movies I'd seen this year.

AOTC was overrated. These prequills have been nothing but let downs, so depressing too. Hayden Christensen totally ruined AOTC... too much of a whiny bitch.
